1. 오피아어학원을 찾아오신 계기는 무엇인가요?
외항사 승무원을 준비하면서 영어 공부의 필요성을 느꼈습니다.
특히 작년 외항사 인터뷰에서 영어 때문에 아쉬운 결과를 받은 경험이 있어서
좀 더 체계적으로 배우고 싶어 등록하게 됐습니다.
2. 수강 전, 어떤 어려움이 있으셨나요?
영어로 말하는 것 자체가 두렵고 자신감이 부족했습니다.
쉽고 똑같은 표현만 계속 사용하고, 시제도 자주 틀리는 편이었습니다.
3. 담당 강사님의 강의는 어떤 방식이었나요? 도움이 된 점은요?
Jay쌤 수업은 가볍게 스몰토크로 시작하고, 숙제 확인 후
아티클을 읽으면서 이야기를 나누는 방식으로 진행됩니다.
무엇보다 매 수업 제가 직접 말하는 시간이 많아서 좋았고,
생각이 바로 안 나도 기다려주시면서 끝까지 말할 수 있게 이끌어주셨습니다.
이후 자연스럽고 실제로 많이 쓰는 표현들을 알려주셔서 좋았어요.
또한, 숙제로 자막 없이 미드 시청과 쉐도잉을 꾸준히 하면서
듣기 실력과 실제 원어민의 발음과 억양을 익히는 데 도움이 됐습니다.
4. 수강 후 어떤 변화가 있었나요?
영어 공부에 더 재미와 흥미를 가지게 되었습니다!
특히 영어로 말하는 연습을 꾸준히 하다보니 면접도 훨씬 더 자신감 있게 볼 수 있었어요.
그리고 결국 원하는 항공사에 합격하게 됐습니다!
5. 앞으로의 다짐을 말씀해주세요.
그동안 많이 이끌어주시고 도와주신 Jay쌤께 너무 감사드립니다!!
앞으로도 영어로 자연스럽게 소통하고 일할 수 있도록 꾸준히 공부 하겠습니다
